We are looking for corporate sponsors to work with the Charm Foundation to assist lupus patients with finding gainful employment, keeping current employment with chronic illness and going back to work after remission.
We would like to bring in professional human resource advisers to council people with lupus about ADA and other protections they have in the work place and how to keep their illness from stopping them from working. In addition, we would like to work with the Social Security Back to Work advocates to help people with lupus try to go back to work without worrying about losing any benefits if they have been on SSDI for a long period of time, but wish to try to work again.
The Charm Foundation is currently working with Social Security’s Back to Work program, but corporate sponsorship is needed to be able to offer this assistance to all of its members. The Charm Foundation will update this post as more assistance becomes available.
